I normally don't do these reviews merely I wanted to take the time to write a review up on this j5 calorie-free bar kit for the Cherokee to set a few things directly. I dearest the lite bar it is very vivid and I dear the amber clearance lights. The mounts worked out great no chiping of the paint equally others have said. The harness worked out well as well. Equally far every bit the complaints of it beingness noisy all light bars are noisy suck it up and purchase a arolidz information technology will take intendance of that problem. Overall I feel this is a great low-cal bar at a corking price and should definitely have a better star rating then information technology does!

Love the clearance light feature! The included JCR offroad mounts are sugariness too, but the power coat on them scratches easily.

This calorie-free bar is great looking, I bought it for the amber clearance lights feature. They cast a warm, dim orange glow over your hood. The actual low-cal output of the bar looks like enough to safely go trailing at night. I installed this on my 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, and didn't need any helpers. The wiring harnesses are high quality, and the instructions are very straightforward. You may need to wire a relay or a fuse tap to the positive post on the switch if your cigarette lighter is an old configuration like mine.

Sadly the $100 JCR mounting brackets that are included with the bundle are absolute garbage. The cheap finish arrived chipped and scratched all over, despite being wrapped in plastic. I usually encounter positive reviews of JCR products, but these brackets look and feel cheap. That's the reason I only gave this package three stars. Information technology would've been smarter to purchase random brackets off Amazon and salvage a chunk of money. Hopefully the exposed metallic doesn't rust anytime presently, but it probably will here in Ohio.
